   Binaural beat technology. Two different tones (“slightly”) different. One is played into one ear and the other into the other ear. The two hemispheres of the brain have to work at “getting these in sync” (so to speak), and, depending on the frequency and amplitude of the tones, different brain wave states are induced–beta, alpha, delta, theta.
